Rupert Elwes

Rupert Elwes, who heads Waverton's private client arm, comes highly recommended by the firm. He joined in 2001 as a director and was then promoted in 2019 to replace wealth management veteran Christopher Rose’s role (Rose still serves as senior portfolio manager).

Elwes is a member of Waverton's management committee. He also developed and led its international clients’ business and continues to manage ‘a broad range’ of both offshore and onshore portfolios according to the firm.

The Exeter University geography graduate gained investment experience at INVESCO Asset Management and Ely Fund Managers. He is now a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) having passed the CISI Diploma.
