Doris Sommavilla’s broad background in family governance and succession made her a perfect fit for Stonehage Fleming when the firm hired her as UK client relationship director in 2021.

As well as more than a decade of investment management experience, Sommavilla is herself a third-generation member of a family business, where she is a non-executive director. She joined the firm from Blu Family office, where, as a principal, she held responsibility in alternative assets and business development in jurisdictions including UK, Italy, Germany and Monaco.
