Dominic Epton has spent more than 13 years within Rothschild & Co’s wealth management and investment banking departments. The former Ashurst lawyer brings both his legal and corporate finance expertise to the firm which enhances its private client offering.

Epton, who specialises in looking after entrepreneurial UHNWs, tells Spear’s that a common thread among his clients is that ‘they have worked hard to create their wealth’. He therefore sees it as his duty to ‘protect and grow’ this wealth by setting out a clear strategy, which includes transparency and honesty about the risks and rewards they can expect from their investments. Portfolios are carefully crafted to ‘cope with uncertainty, preserve wealth and deliver inflation-beating real returns over the long term’.
