Before joining Sotheby’s International Realty in London, Simon Burgoyne headed Knight Frank’s Mayfair office for around a decade, helping clients to source their dream properties around Hyde Park. Now, he has even more time to support his affluent UHNW client base with home sales, unmoored by management responsibilities. 

‘Leaving Knight Frank was a difficult decision – it always is when you love the place.’ He is, however, relishing in the creativity and flexibility offered by his new working environment.

Burgoyne also tells Spear’s that he has been able to utilise Sotheby’s full network of property advisers, and even support clients with specialist property needs: helping one client to source a stud farm, for example.
