Dave Benett's career launched in the Seventies when he was focused on news and sports photography, before concentrating solely on the London party scene. Over more than four decades he has produced more than a million images for leading papers, capturing the likes of Queen Elizabeth II to Madonna and Liz Hurley in 'that [Versace] dress'. He has captured moments in high society history, including the time when Princess Diana enjoyed a night out with actress Liza Minnelli.

With his images being largely exclusive, Benett regularly shoots for fashion publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Tatler, while also being the Evening Standard's chief entertainment photographer.
