Spear's Review
Fran Hipperson specialises in complex financial remedy cases, which often involve multiple jurisdictions and the ownership structures of family businesses for her HNW client base. She is equally well-versed in negotiating nuptial agreements, advising on issues involving unmarried couples and childcare cases. She often helps clients grappling with legal concerns around Schedule 1 of the Children Act and on child residence issues. She joined Irwin Mitchell in April 2022 after working as a partner at BP Collins, where she worked for over a decade.
She says the most rewarding part of her role is helping clients to put together solutions which help them to move forwards, often at very difficult times.
After becoming enthused by the world of family law as student at the University of Wales, Cardiff, Hipperson then trained as a solicitor at Charles Russell (now Charles Russell Speechlys) before moving to Payne Hicks Beach.
