Spear’s Review

Located near St Moritz, the stunningly beautiful Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz was founded in 1904. Combining both tradition and innovation, the school aims to shape the future generation of global leaders.

Motivation, critical thinking and creativity are key values, and the school encourages individual development and open-mindedness. In typical Swiss fashion there is skiing available to all students, but there is also a wide range of other extracurricular activities, including team sports, arts, music and theatre.

Students perform well academically and can choose between studying IGCSEs – the class of 2024 was the first to sit the exams – the Swiss Matura or the IB. Graduates regularly take up places at top Swiss and international universities.

Academics

In 2025:

  • 63 per cent of IGCSE results were grades A*-A
  • Average IB score was 31.0
