Mills & Reeve partner Michael Aubrey advises a mixture of agribusinesses, rural estates and farmers.

His work often involves marshalling legal expertise from different areas of his firm’s business to support clients. He supported the Wellcome Trust in its acquisition of the Co-op’s £250 million farming portfolio — the largest open market agricultural land transaction in the UK at the time.

Clients also rely on his expertise around the tax implications of developing land and wealth structuring when purchasing plots or estates. Aubrey has a degree in agricultural economics, and enjoys watching cricket in his spare time.
