Assured, calm and quietly forthright, Gina Parker is a wealth management veteran with 25 years’ experience to call upon. As a principal partner of St. James’s Place Private Clients, she serves a clientele of entrepreneurial and City HNWs and UNHWs, taking a holistic approach to their wealth and lives. 

‘We really do try to wrap our arms around the clients and care for them deeply across the whole spectrum of their financial position, whether it’s basic bank accounts or complex offshore investments and trusts,’ she tells Spear’s. 

Her role requires discretion, empathy and professionalism: ‘You get to hear the innermost thoughts and pieces of information about families, how they feel about life, what’s happened in their life – it’s so much more than just the money,’ she says.

Gina is a Principal Partner at St James’s Place with more than 20 years’ experience in wealth management and structuring. Gina helps some of the UK’s wealthiest individuals organise their finances in a coherent, understandable and efficient way whilst carefully ensuring the macro strategy meets their values and objectives. 

Gina is also highly thought of for her intergenerational work and helping the younger generation understand the responsibility of great wealth, as well as assisting with family philanthropic foundations. Gina is also experienced with Trust work, including suitable uses and underlying investments. 

Gina is particularly experienced at helping entrepreneurs transition from illiquid business assets to liquid cash wealth and the associated financial, planning and emotional challenges this can bring. 

Hard working and dedicated, Gina is a Chartered Financial Planner and known for her high level of technical competence and ultra-professional and discrete approach. She is highly regarded at St James’s Place and elsewhere and is regularly called upon to provide mentoring and insights to colleagues. 

Gina is very interested in helping children and young people in Nepal and is a founder and Trustee of the Nepal Youth Foundation UK. 

She also sits on the board of the US, West Coast based Nepal Youth Foundation. Gina also co-founded Panthera Private Office, a separate business which provides full family office services for families with wealth in excess of £100 million. 

Whilst the cut and thrust of the City of London always appeals, Gina adores spending time at home in the countryside with her husband and children and in her spare time... what little is left of it... she loves to run!
