Edward Simmons is a managing director in Blackstone's private wealth solutions group and head of the Europe family capital division at the firm.

Before moving to London, Simmons worked for Blackstone in New York, where he played a role in launching the firm's private wealth group. He joined the private equity giant in 2008 as a research analyst.

Before this Simmons held roles at General Electric and AllianceBernstein, where he advised family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foundations and endowments on investment strategies and portfolio construction.
