Tim Mills is the founder and managing partner at ACF Investing, a venture capital firm previously known as Angel CoFund. While there have long been opportunities aplenty among US tech companies, the UK angel investment ecosystem has matured significantly in recent years. As a reaction AFC Investment introduced the Delta Fund, which provides more capital with reduced process and will see ACF Investors invest alongside at least three angel investors.

‘At the forefront of my mind is buying into the opportunity,’ Mills told The Times. ‘That’s an emphasis on opportunity, rather than ideas. There are lots of great ideas out there, but there has to be an opportunity behind it.’
