‘Only one doorway separates dreams from reality, and that’s courage,’ says Belgian chocolatier Pierre Marcolini, who has found global success with Maison Pierre Marcolini’s hand-crafted collections of chocolates, fruit pastes, macarons and ice creams. 

‘Each day is a new opportunity to surprise, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible,’ says Marcolini, whose fine creations are almost too beautiful to eat. He’s pursued his passion since the age of 14, inspired by the artisanal methods of the Lyonese, as well as master pâtissier Gaston Lenôtre. 

The maison now operates over 30 stores in Belgium, Paris, London and Japan, including in department stores such as Harrods and Galeries Lafayette.
