Leigh Shapiro

Spear’s Review

Leigh Shapiro is an expert when it comes to all aspects of residential leasehold law.

Following a six-year tenure at Irwin Mitchell, she joined Winckworth Sherwood in 2024.

The highly experienced solicitor focusses on issues relating to lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, rights of first refusal and right to manage claims.

With the interests of her clients at the fore, Shapiro brings highly technical leaseholder legislation into focus through a commercial lens. Protecting her clients’ rights is of paramount importance, whether they are a leaseholder, landlord, developer, or private investor.

She is a member of both the Law Society of England and Wales and the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners. In addition to this, Shapiro is also an honorary consultant for the Federation of Private Residents Associations.
