Colin Rogerson graduated with first class honours from Nottingham Trent University and completed his legal practice course with distinction. He trained at Dawson Cornwell, and after qualifying in 2011, quickly became one of their go-to lawyers for surrogacy cases. 

Currently head of fertility law at Mills & Reeve, Rogerson is well known for his expertise in assisted reproduction and family formation. He regularly advises HNW clients, many of whom are professionals or celebrities, undertaking surrogacy arrangements both internationally or within the UK.

He also regularly instructs in complex parental order cases, matters involving surrogate-born children where there are unusual or complicating factors, and co-parenting and donor insemination arrangements.
