Barry Tucker tells Spear’s that his aim in founding Tuckers Solicitors was to provide 24-hour, 365-days-a-year legal advice and assistance to clients facing criminal allegations. It is now one of the largest criminal law firms in Britain.

Tucker oversees 14 offices across the country (including five in London) and explains that within this structure there are also specialised departments, ranging from white-collar crime to domestic violence and serious crime. Each one is led by senior lawyers with far-reaching expertise.

Of particular note is the designated team for handling allegations against HNWs. The private client criminal defense department is responsible for advising UK-based HNWs, international businesspeople and celebrities from the entertainment and sporting worlds.

Barry Tucker is managing partner of national criminal law firm Tuckers, which he founded in 1980. He built the firm into one of the largest of its kind in Britain, overseeing 14 offices.
