Aurelia Butler-Ball is an ‘efficient, thorough and very knowledgeable’ commercial lawyer with a particular focus on media and entertainment who left Irwin Mitchell to found a new media law firm, Tacit Legal, in 2022. Based in Brighton, the firm provides legal services in the technology and media industries. 

Recently, Butler-Ball has acted for a recording artist on her deal with Sony Music, provided advice to a well-known television celebrity on a commercial agreement with the BBC and given legal guidance to a film production company.

She is also a regular speaker on music law and holds a certificate in Legal Rights and Trade Practices in the Creative Industries from UCL Faculty of Laws.
