Having worked as a vet for several years for Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Adam Driver had what he calls a ‘lightbulb moment’, which led to the founding of the Global Equine Group, a full-service equine management company.

He was attending a horse and found that it wasn’t being trained at all and had multiple injuries. He recommended a course of action that went beyond immediate medical intervention and realised there was a need for well-informed direct handling of animals on their owners’ behalf, bypassing the sometimes conflicted interests of trainers and bloodstock agents.

He now has a number of clients in Dubai, as well as Europe and the US, from entrepreneurs and sportspeople to families. He said: ‘A lot of it is driven by the owner and what their goals are, their budget, what they get their passion from. We just try and make sure it fulfils that dream.’
