Toby Downes is noted for having extensive knowledge of London’s most popular postcodes, particularly where international buyers are concerned.

He cut his teeth in prime property development at Northacre in 2006 before holding various sales roles at Marsh Parsons, Strutt & Parker and Savills, specialising in Mayfair, Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Chelsea. He worked at RedBook as a director in 2021 before joining Jonathan Harington in his eponymous firm in early 2023 to oversee its London division.

Downes looks after ‘dollar-based’ clients, mainly from the US and the Middle East, who are attracted by the value the city’s prime real estate market will add to their portfolios. He says that he’s delighted to ‘guide and support clients with access to the best London can offer’.
