Jon Steafel has held a number of leading roles in British journalism, including being deputy editor of the Daily Mail for more than ten years. In 2019 Steafel joined forces with Andy Coulson at Coulson Partners, where he is managing partner.

Twenty-five years in senior newsroom roles has given him deep knowledge of the workings of journalism, campaigns and the media landscape, as well as many contacts in the industry, which he uses to advise businesses, family offices and high net worth individuals on media management, reputation issues and public relations. As journalism is primarily a team activity he is also greatly valued for his leadership and internal communications ability.
