Tariq Ayoub

Tariq Ayoub is a London-based consultant ophthalmic surgeon, based at Imperial College and acting as the emergency lead for the city’s Western Eye Hospital, where he has performed many hundreds of eye operations.

He is also the founder and director of Oculase, through which he consults patients privately in various locations in London and Birmingham.

Ayoub’s clinical interests include cataract, vision correction, corneal disease, eye-lid disorders, trauma and general ophthalmology. Having trained at the London School of Ophthalmology (which includes Moorfields Eye Hospital and Royal Free Hospital) after his medical degree, he is on the specialist register of the General Medical Council and has received a specialist certification in refractive surgery (Cert-LRS) from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
