Nedbank’s Isle of Man private banking operations are in the capable hands of Andrew Halsall, a chartered adviser and fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment who helps international HNWs with their wealth management, succession planning, retirement and borrowing needs.

Halsall is proud of the bank’s boutique feel. He assures each client that they will be looked after attentively by a dedicated private banker, who will look after their needs with the aim of establishing a longstanding relationship, preferably across multiple generations. ‘If a client really wants to get their child on the property ladder but they need help with the mortgage, we would lend, as we are taking a view on our relationship with the client and their family,’ he says.

Andrew Halsall heads up the private banking team in Nedbank Private Wealth’s Isle of Man office. He believes it is important to take a broad view of the company’s whole relationship with each client and their family to help them manage their wealth across generations. To this end, he recommends clients agree a wealth plan at the outset of the relationship to ensure they can make more informed financial decisions. 

He looks after a portfolio of domestic and international high net worth clients, working closely with them, and their professional advisers, to meet their wealth management, succession planning, retirement and borrowing needs. He joined the bank in 2005 and has over 30 years’ banking experience.
