Razanne Abaza

Spear’s Review

Promoted to managing director in 2021, Razanne Abaza is a senior adviser in the private wealth team within Goldman Sachs’ London office. A two-decade veteran with the bank, she previously worked for its investment banking division before returning to her roots in private wealth.

Within the team, Abaza and her colleagues offer a high-touch, full-spectrum service to clients across the UK and Europe. Their core services include financial stewardship (including helping clients build customised portfolios to meet their financial goals), life and legacy planning, liquidity and lending, and – increasingly – advising on philanthropy and social impact projects. The aim, says the bank, is to bring clients’ wealth to its ‘full potential’ with comprehensive  solutions that cater to each individual’s needs and aspirations.

Adviser Profile

Razanne is a private wealth advisor at Goldman Sachs and leads an investment team covering individuals and family offices in the UK, Switzerland and the Middle East. She serves as a member of the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Women’s Council.

Razanne joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division, where she spent three years before joining PWM. She moved to London in 2007 as a private wealth advisor and was named managing director in 2021.

Razanne earned a BCom in Finance and Management Information Systems from McGill University in 2000.
